再來個Gothic metal band,
簡易團史翻譯如下:
成軍於1987的Blitzkrieg(閃擊戰),於次年1988改名為"Therion"
經過幾張demo後1991年首張正式專輯"Of Darkness"
前幾年被認定成death metal團,再陸續更換團員後,原始團員剩下Christofer Johnsson
1996第五張專輯"Theli"被公認為該團突破性代表作,風格轉為 symphonic opera metal,
接下的"Vovin"有管弦樂隊的加入,成為該團在歐洲的最暢銷專輯,
該張其實是吉他手Christofer Johnsson的SOLO專輯,但仍以團名發表,
之後曲風更加多樣化,融入古典/歌劇各種元素進來,
2002年慶祝成軍15年推出Live雙CD "Live in Midgard",
最近的專輯 "Sirius B" 和"Lemuria" 參與的樂手共171位,共同創作出前衛交響樂的極限
